He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Painter work with an outfit from a few towns over. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Sailor they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Painter, and he later adopted a second son.

History: Born in the south to a Priest, Korfel learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. A gifted student he started as a Blacksmith, but he got bored and became a Priest. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: He was born into a rich family. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Engraver.

History: Aramil was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
