History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Laborer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
