This search led him directly into Painter work with an outfit from a few towns over. Painter work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Berrian was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Through the years after Berrian was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Theren isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Elven unity. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He works hard and plays hard.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Beiro was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

Motivation: A deep hatred of dire rats; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
