History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Varis was orphaned to a temple shortly after his birth. He was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above himself and to hold his god always in his heart. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Description: An older man who wears tight fitting pants and leather jackets. He usually doesn't wear a shirt, he is not a threatening figure. With bright blonde hair and a scraggly beard. His green unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and he is greedy

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: To end his boredom; and he seems to be bored by most things

Personality: He will rave to anyone who will listen. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and money/treasure

History: Rolen hails from a village terrorized by orcs. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Spice Merchant. He became a Spice Merchant soon after.
