History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the north. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions
