History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the north. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone.
