History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He found a children's book about a Elf Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: Gifted from a young age, Nim studied abroad. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Tanner. He became a Tanner soon after.

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. He uses divination through singing.

History: Soveliss was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Crown-heir hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was granted arcane powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and many giants want him driven away

Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Layabout profession.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature whip.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and expand his business

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Nutae grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Nutae. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help
