History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Efferil was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. After coming to the age of reason, Hadarai took it upon himself to study the divine arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
