History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

Personality: Rael wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Sorcerer, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion
