He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Laucian was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature crossbow.

Motivation: He wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away; and obtaining odd cultural elven artifacts is his passion
