Description: He is an attractive man, lean and moderately muscular. He is generally well dressed albeit a few years behind the times. He wears his chestnut hair up. His blue eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Raer grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Raer. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Theren is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. Through the years after Theren was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Theren's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Theren and his spouse have recently divorced.
