After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was born at the edge of vast plains. His psionic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He's also a talented Fisher, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average man, he is not imposing. He wears a tight fitting black shirt and pants. He has shaved his head bald. His ears are large.

Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Rolen took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up spear and armor he uses now. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Rolen fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
