Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Erdan embodies much of what other species detest in the Elves. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Merchant work with an outfit from a few towns over. Merchant work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 14 years.
