History: Berrian was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Navigator for hire.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. While he appears to be a normal Elf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and he desires to right it
