History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. At a young age his father died while driving off some dire rats. His mother being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in shield use. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Laucian fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Theriatis was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: He comes from a rich western family. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the south. The occasional robbery is his preferred attention getting crime, but he mainly uses his means for meeting his own perverse desires.

History: Theren hails from a village terrorized by orcs. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. After months of barely getting by, Theren managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, he made his way to the capital under a new identity.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.
