Personality: This man loves poetry and to teach people poetry more than just about anything. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Raer was born in the east. At a young age he loved to build and create. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a old dungeon. He would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Raer took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up ceremonial dagger and armor he uses now. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Naill was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and a rival would like him out of the picture

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. A gifted student he started as a Armorer, but he got bored and became a Jeweler. He tends to his Jeweler job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. After months of barely getting by, Raer managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, he made his way to the capital under a new identity.

He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
