History: Lucan was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature pickaxe.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Thervan was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Thervan's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Thervan and his spouse have recently divorced.
