His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and to pay off his debts

Personality: Aust hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his painting career. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
