History: Born in the south to a Dyer, Erdan learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Elves in the south were limited. He has worked as a Dyer like his father before him.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions
