History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Heian grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Heian. After months of barely getting by, Heian managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, he made his way to the capital under a new identity.

He is a real pyromaniac and does not care who the fire hurts. He often ends up burning people alive in the fires he starts.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and he has decided he is irredeemable

Personality: He exudes charisma. He is a tour de force of persuasion. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: He got into the Miller business at a young age. Caeldrim was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Caeldrim decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He's also a talented Navigator, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

History: Gifted from a young age, Rolen studied abroad. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
