History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He disdains his fellow northerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and wants to work out more often

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Berrian was born on a far southern mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Spy. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Description: He tends to wear a large yellow jacket. His attire stands in sharp contrast to his quarterstaff, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a rose on it. His chestnut hair is smooth and relatively long. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

Motivation: He is greedy; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it
