History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He found a children's book about a Elf Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and he desires power and/or immortality

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. In his 19th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage.
