History: Born to a Cartwright, his father struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Sellsword hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Born in the east to a Bounty Hunter, Varis learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His first spouse was a Guard, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father.

History: His necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His necromantic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.
