Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Soapmaker hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. A gifted student he started as a Sculptor, but he got bored and became a Apothecary. After a long history of fighting, Aelar and his spouse have recently divorced.

His mother taught him the rudiments of the Sage arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
