History: Born in the east to a Engraver, Peren learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Peren.
