History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. Dayereth was born on a far western forest where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Map Maker. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and a rival would like him out of the picture

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and obtaining odd cultural elven artifacts is his passion

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Rolen grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He found a children's book about a Elf Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
