History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Korfel was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Korfel's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of dire rats once and for all.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Heian alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His parents enrolled him in a Sorcerer school at a young age so that he could practice his psionic talents. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and to reunite with his old friends
