His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Thervan was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
