History: Ahvain lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers

Personality: Heian is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. Heian is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the north. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Arannis liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Born in the north to a Weaver, Hadarai learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He now owns his own business.
