History: Thervan was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. A freak accident while working with his Engraver mother left him crippled. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Fletcher.

Personality: Naill is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Naill has worked very hard to control his curse. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Ahvain is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born in a small desert village. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Riardon was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His arcane abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Guard arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
