History: Gifted from a young age, Varis studied abroad. A freak accident while working with his Crown-heir father left him crippled. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and balancing his hectic life and new fletcher responsibilities is difficult
