History: He was born on a small isolated farm. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Galinndan alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture.
