Description: This petite short man is perpetually holding a sweet of some kind. He is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright red and brown, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems, marred by sweets. His hair is long and chestnut with streaks of white, and is pulled back with small red clips. His beard is white, braided, and well cared for. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Varis embodies much of what other species detest in the Elves. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: Born in the west to a Body Guard, Varis learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Ploughman work with an outfit from a few towns over. Ploughman work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Ploughman for hire.

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: He was born into a rich family. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He now spends his time doing works of charity.
