His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Varis took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up scimitar and armor he uses now. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by goblins. Varis was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the goblins.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Through the years after Tharivol was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Tharivol's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Peren grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. His parents enrolled him in a Sorcerer school at a young age so that he could practice his psionic talents. He was granted psionic powers by his dying brother.
