History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Paelias was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Paelias was born on a far eastern forest where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Hunter. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and he desires to right it.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Herbalist they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Locksmith, and he later adopted a second son.
