Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of giants may trigger it at times.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his father's warnings against it. History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Varis alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
