Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Azaki embodies much of what other species detest in the Elves. He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many brigands want him driven away.

History: Heian lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Dyer they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Detective, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter; and to reunite with his old friends

He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He guards a vault combo very seriously as well as the key needed to open it.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and a deep hatred of giants

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Raer was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Raer was born on a far western forest where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Actor. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and he seems to be bored by most things
