History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. A freak accident while working with his Stableman father left him crippled. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He struck the Dilettante job and began his own company from there.

Through the years after Aelar was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Aelar's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
