Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: Efferil lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Engraver. He's also a talented Ruler, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter; and to reunite with his absent mother

Personality: Hadarai hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his poetry career. He also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered poetry. He has never given up on his poetry dream.

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. Thervan enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Born to a Scribe, his mother struggled to pay the bills. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Aust was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Aust decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
