History: Laucian hails from a village terrorized by brigands. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Laucian was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the brigands.

Description: His right thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise he appears quite healthy. He is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright violet and tan, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. His long blonde hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: Arannis is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Sage arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Arannis fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Description: This exceptionally lanky man prefers to wear blue clothing when he does not wear armor. Sporting a white mohawk and bushy mustache this man's hair draws a lot of attention. His eyes are likewise green.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it; and he wants revenge against gnolls

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He is obsessed with his god.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. In his 19th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Efferil isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Elven unity. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.
