After coming to the age of reason, Varis took it upon himself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: The child of a Dilettante, who enjoyed hunting, Naeris was taken on many hunting expeditions. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Naeris grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Naeris. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

History: Laucian was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He was granted martial powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions
