History: Nim was born with his mother's beautiful face. The family's rival house kidnapped his sister with the intent that his sister marry their son to gain control of contested properties. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal.
