Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage son.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and revenge

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. The war was a terrible time for him, and Lucan does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born in a small forest village. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He has achieved small success as a Miller.

Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He found a children's book about a Elf Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs
