Description: 5'3" and muscular, this western man wears a brown vest and prefers grey and tan shirts. His boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down. He has wavy auburn hair. He wears a mask on his face.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Description: A middle-aged man, he does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it, and is pretty ugly. He has done his best to style his black hair to look like a famous performer. His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He takes great joy in being the best Mercenary in town.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. In his 20th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He tends to his Mercenary job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he wears a suit in poor condition. It has not been laundered in sometime and has been worn in activities one would not normally wear a suit during. His red hair is singed and shortened. His eyes are green and beady.

Personality: He is filled with cunning. He likes to feign weakness letting people think he is weak. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of illithids once and for all.

History: Thervan was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Thervan alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: A deep hatred of illithids; and to reunite with his old friends

Description: He wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition, and carries rapiers. His blonde hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his amber eyes.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Scribe hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over his head. He wears his hair in dreadlocks. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Dilettante profession.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, giants burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying north to reunite his family. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.
