History: Gennal was born the youngest of three triplets. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature spear.
