History: Theren hails from a village terrorized by brigands. Theren was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Theren decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. He has all his life been fascinated with writing.

History: He was raised in a desert tribe. His parents enrolled him in a Sorcerer school at a young age so that he could practice his martial talents. He has never given up on his writing dream.
