The war was a terrible time for him, and Varis does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

His right hand appears badly burned and disfigured. He keeps his brown hair in a pixie cut. He is baby faced.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: Eiravel was born with his mother's beautiful face. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Eiravel took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up longbow and armor he uses now. He bought a longbow and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal.

History: He comes from a rich western family. While he appears to be a normal Elf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Elven artifacts is his passion.
