Efferil was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the gnolls.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the east; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it

Personality: Naill hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and he is unsatisfied with his job

History: He was raised in a desert tribe. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

History: He was born in the east. A gifted student he started as a Shepherd, but he got bored and became a Baker. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Baker for hire.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers

Description: A man with a cold, calculating air about him, he tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look. He keeps his black hair in a flapper bob. His half smiles and gray eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his singing with anyone who is interested.

History: Nim lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. When Nim reached his early adolescence his Elf father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. Some 6 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Nim never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.
