History: Rael hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Sculptor they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Beggar, and he later adopted a second daughter.
