Description: This northern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his sword with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt. His chestnut hair is lengthy. His brown eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. A true patriot, Varis would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Varis was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Detective hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 10 years.

Personality: Peren is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: Peren was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

History: A child with a great deal of singing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered singing. He has never given up on his singing dream.
